Titanic Museum Attraction News and Events - Our Lady of the Lake
August 10th, 2010
Yesterday evening, my family enjoyed a dinner cruise onboard the Showboat Branson Belle. Our Lady of the Lake has been entertaining passengers for 16+ years. When we first arrived, we walked a path through the most beautiful grounds that I have seen in this area. The landscaping is pristine and there were many photo opportunities along the way. The path lead us to the White River Landing where there was shopping, restrooms, and a box office. And in the background was the Lady herself docked on the most beautiful lake I have ever known, Table Rock Lake.
Even though I just went through the museum less than a week ago I am already making plans to visit again with my kids this fall and I know my kids, (my 6 year old son especially) will love to see the Titanic Museum!
One museum I've always wanted to go to is the Titanic Museum in Branson. This Missouri attraction has been around for several years now, but just seems so out of the way, so I never even considered visiting. Titanic Pigeon Forge just opened, however, and Tennessee is only an 8-hour road trip away. A much more reasonable distance, if you ask me! Maybe we can keep going and visit Graceland as well. I've always wanted to go there, too!
Our first stop of the day for Saturday was the Titanic Museum! I loved the movie Titanic and I’ve seen a few shows on Discovery about what happened that awful night. I was very impressed when we visited. We came in time to see the new dogs of the Titanic. This is to remember ALL the dogs that were on the ship. They were so cute, and I didn’t get pictures but again I am able to grab from the site so photo’s will be in the full review of the Titanic Museum.
